Intergovernmental Affairs

Our Mission

The Intergovernmental Affairs Commission (IGA) serves as a liaison between the UW-Eau Claire student body and various levels of government. We represent and advance the interests of UWEC students in order to ensure that their voices are heard where it matters the most.

Our Meetings

This fall, Intergovernmental Affairs is meeting weekly in Davies Center in Chancellors Conference Room (311) on Fridays at 2:00 pm.

Anyone is welcome and encouraged to come to any of our meetings with any ideas, comments, or questions they may have! You do not need to be a member of Student Senate or interested in joining Student Senate to be a part of one of our commissions. In fact, we prefer a range of opinions and points of view across our commission members!

If you can't make it to our meeting time but are interested in joining our commission and/or getting in contact with us, we encourage you to send us an email at stusen55@uwec.edu or come talk to someone in the Student Senate office, which is located in Davies 220.
