About Us

The UWEC Student Senate is the official voice of the student body at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, dedicated to representing and advocating for every Blugold. We work tirelessly to enhance campus life, address student concerns, and foster an inclusive community through leadership and collaboration. Whether it’s funding student organizations or shaping university policies, the Senate is here to make your voice heard and create a vibrant campus experience.

Structure and Roles

The UWEC Student Senate is composed of elected student senators and directors who represent your student voice. Led by an executive board that consists of a President, Vice President, and Directors, the Senate operates through specialized commissions focusing on areas like sustainability, equity, and student life. This structure empowers us to address student needs effectively and collaborate with university administration to drive meaningful change.
