Information Technology Commission

Our Mission

The Information Technology Commission oversees the expenditure of the Student Technology Fee and represents students' information technology needs. This commission serves as a liaison between students, administration, Learning and Technology Services, and the McIntyre Library to address technology and information access issues as well as maintain a high-quality information technology environment for students through both policy and purchases.

Our Projects

  • Annual Technology Survey

    Every academic year, the Information Technology Commission of Student Senate conducts a tech survey to gather information about how technology is used and can be improved on campus.

    The feedback acquired through this survey helps the Information Technology Commission and LTS make this campus as technologically successful as it can be.

Our Meetings

This spring, the Information Technology Commission is meeting in the Davies Center on every other Wednesday at 9:00 AM. For the exact meeting location, reach out to itc@uwec.edu.

Anyone is welcome and encouraged to come to any of our meetings and share any ideas, comments, or questions they may have! You do not need to be a member of Student Senate or interested in joining Student Senate to be a part of any of our commissions. In fact, we prefer a range of opinions and points of view across our commission members!
