Our Mission

The Communications Commission aims to connect the student body with Student Senate. This commission leads outreach efforts on behalf of Student Senate by managing social media, organizing and advertising events, hosting Motivational Mondays, encouraging involvement, and helping ensure that members stay connected and engaged in meetings and events. No matter what we're doing, we're always trying to find new ways to keep students informed and connect our student body as a whole!

Our Meetings

This fall, the Communications Commission is meeting weekly in Davies Center in Mohican Conference Room (310) on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM.

Anyone is welcome and encouraged to come to any of our meetings and share any ideas, comments, or questions they may have! You do not need to be a member of Student Senate or interested in joining Student Senate to be a part of one of our commissions. In fact, we prefer a range of opinions and points of view across our commission members!

If you can't make it to our meeting time but are interested in joining our commission and/or getting in contact with us, we encourage you to send us an email at stusen59@uwec.edu or come talk to someone in the Student Senate office, which is located in Davies 220.
