About the Festivals Committee
We plan the week-long festivals that have become campus traditions over the years! The festivals are meant to bring campus together and for students make lasting memories.
We plan the week-long festivals that have become campus traditions over the years! The festivals are meant to bring campus together and for students make lasting memories.
Although the details change from year to year, the traditions of the UWEC Homecoming carry on, and we are reminded each fall why this place is so special. Blugolds old and new alike can be guaranteed a week of fun times, exciting events, and a perfect dose of nostalgia.
This festival kicks off the start of the spring semester with a mix of outdoor and indoor events! Everyone needs a mid-winter break to celebrate all things winter.
We know what students need to get through the last stressful few weeks of spring semester, and its Springfest. We create just the relaxing diversion from tests and projects, offering live music sets, free food, yard games on campus mall, a petting zoo and more!

If your Student Organization is interested in friendly competition and the chance to win money, the Spirit Competition is right up your alley!
Each event during the week is tied to the Spirit Competition, though students can participate in events without being part of the competition. To learn more about the Spirit Competition, you will need a member of your organization to attend a Homecoming Information Session. To learn more about each event, click the links above on the schedule.
To participate in most events, students and organizations will need to register in advance and those sign-ups are below. Registrations, with the exception of Pennant Hanging, are due on Friday, Oct. 4th at 11:59pm.
Attend an Information Session to learn all about the Spirit Competition! We will answer all of your questions, go over how to run a Royalty Candidate, and all of the ways you can earn points!
PLUS you can earn points before Homecoming starts by attending an Information Session!
If you are interested in helping plan a variety of small and large-scale events, this is the perfect committee for you. The events range from organizing a petting zoo, and games like water balloon toss, to the Homecoming Parade. The Festivals Committee will give you experience coordinating various types of events and make lasting memories along the way.
