    Neurodivergence 101: This session covers different forms of neurodivergence such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), etc. Students will discuss stereotypes and their impact as well as how to use more inclusive language.

    LGBTQ+ Vocabulary: This session discusses the different identities within the LGBTQ+ community. Students will have the chance to learn about on campus resources and how to support LGBTQ+ individuals.

    Art for Social Change: In this program students will learn what art activism is, learn why it’s important and see different types of art activism. They will also learn how they can be activists and make a difference.

    Diversity 101: Students will gain an understanding of what equity, diversity, and inclusivity mean. They will learn the significance of each term individually and how they apply to the world we live in.

    Disability Awareness: This program focuses on different types of disabilities and how we can support people with disabilities. Students will have the opportunity to learn about inclusive language and will be provided with campus resources

    Equity and Equality: Student will learn the difference between equity and equality. They will get the opportunity to face different scenarios and learn how to navigate them while creating an equitable future that offers equal opportunities?

    Exposed: This program is designed to educate participants about inequalities in modern advertisements. Students will learn how to spot inequalities in the media and have a conversation about how we can make improvements.

    Pronoun Practice: Students will learn about pronouns and the correct way to use them.

    The Overlap: This program is designed to educate participants about intersectionality. This program will help students understand how people’s various identities interact to create unique experiences and see how oppression is multi-layered and complex.

    The Store: Individuals are given a randomized amount of money to “shop for privileges”. There are different shelves that cover different privileges such as gender, class, race, etc. This gives participants the opportunity to understand how impactful privileges are and how there are some privileges we may not be aware of.

    Zoned Out: This activity is meant to make individuals step out of their comfort In this activity, students will have conversations to acknowledge others’ personal experiences and feelings about difficult situations and topics.

    Microaggressions: Microaggressions are the everyday verbal, nonverbal, and environmental slights, snubs, or insults, whether intentional or unintentional, which communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative messages to target persons based solely upon their marginalized group membership. Workshop participants will learn to recognize microaggressions, reduce them in their daily lives and support students who experience them daily.
