Hello! I am a senior studying secondary math education and Spanish. I have been a member of HSC since my first semester. This organization has allowed me to make great friendships, given me many leadership opportunities, and helped me advance my skills such as communication and teamwork. In my freetime, I enjoy scrapbooking, playing piano, and playing with my dog Roxi!

Howdy! I am a fourth-year computer science major looking forward to graduation this May. In my down time, I enjoy doing origami, cross country skiing, and relaxing with my dog. Honors Student Council has allowed me to get involved in the Honors program in a deeper way and meet many great people. My position is in charge of all things communication - advertising, emailing, bookkeeping, etc.

Anna Fregien

Co-Director of Education

My name is Anna Fregien. I am a 4th-year Ecology and Environmental Biology major and a German minor. I joined HSC my freshman year because I was looking for different organizations to get involved with. HSC seemed like a good organization to connect me to the honors program and give me a chance to meet new people. I have gained a lot from my time in HSC such as communication, time management, and organizational skills. In addition to building my leadership skills, I also gained a lot of friendships and have had a lot of fun at our meetings and events. I gained a large community of friends and professors that I can count on and really enjoy working with.

Faith Black

Co-Director of Education

Hi everyone! I'm Faith and this is my fourth year at UWEC studying Rehabilitation Science, originally from Kentucky! (Yes, I know it's far!) My role in HSC requires me to recruit and train upperclassmen guides, recruit incoming freshmen for our program, recruit and train peer advisors, attend honors council, etc. Outside of Honors, I enjoy drinking coffee and ice skating!

Ray Nelson

LLC Liaison

Hi. I'm Ray Nelson, and I'm a third-year Accounting and Finance double-major. I'm also a big fan of all things raccoons, frogs, and Pop-Tarts. I originally joined HSC because I liked planning events, and it sounded like the closest thing to my high school's student council. It turned out to be so much more than that. I've met some of my greatest friends and have been able to fulfill many leadership roles both on campus and within our community because of this student org. This club has helped me build skills and meet people that will prove to be useful for years to come.
