Hi everyone!
SACM's next event this semester will be a Git and GitHub Workshop next Wednesday, October 12!
We will be learning how to use GitHub and a bit of git to keep your project organized and manageable! Don’t want to be git-blamed for breaking your next group project? Looking to contribute to open-source projects? Want to push yourself to be the best version of you? This workshop is committed to teaching you about of forks, issues, commits, clones, branches, and merges. We'll be going over the process using both the GitHub Desktop GUI app and git command line tools.
As always, grab your forks for some pizza! (free for members, $1/slice for non-members) We will be meeting at 7:00pm in Phillips 115, and RSVPs are encouraged (but not required!) via the card below. We will also be collecting dues one more time for anyone interested this semester, which get you a *golden* name in Discord and free food among other benefits. Hope to see you there!
