The purpose/objectives of this organization will be to (a) teach some physics, (b) stimulate greater interest in physics, (c) increase contact of the general student body with physics, and (d) strengthen the Physics and Astronomy Department.
The benefits include building connections and friendships within the physics department, participating in fun activities such as the annual pumpkin drop and contraption contest, and maybe even learning some physics along the way!
