Interested in making or altering a costume for Halloween? Need to integrate lights and motors into your costume? Want to 3D print the perfect prop to properly accessorize?

The Blugold Makerspace is here to help!

We will be pulling in some of our best and brightest makers to show you how to use our equipment to make your Halloween costume dreams come true. Stop by this drop-in workshop to learn about:

- Sewing: Learn how to use a sewing machine or simple hand sewing techniques
- Basic Electronics - Add some lights or electric motors for extra effect.
- 3D Printed Accessories: Use existing 3D models and a little imagination to accessorize your costume for some flavor.
- Intro to EVA Foam: one of the top craft supplies used by professional cosplay artists

The Blugold Makerspace has everything you need to finish it out. You can use what we have in the space on any and all projects. Some popular tools and materials include: Papier mache, the button maker, hot glue guns, masquerade masks, and donated materials (beads, buttons, feathers, paints, etc.)

For more information on our equipment, check out our website: https://uwec.ly/makerspace
