We would like to invite you on behalf of Services for Students with Disabilities, and Equity in Student Matters for a viewing and discussion of the popular film CODA. This film relates an experience of CODAs “children of deaf adults” and the Deaf community. The film dives into the life of Ruby as the only hearing member in her family. This family faces many challenges, including lack of access and respect for individuals in the Deaf community, a situation that Ruby must continually navigate while trying to follow her own goals and dreams. Through her family’s support Ruby continues to live her life to the fullest.

We’d love it if you could join us on Tuesday March 4th at 11am in Davies Woodland Theater! Light lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided.
