*New this year:
You'll need to complete steps 1 & 2 before you can complete step 4.

Step 1:
Schedule a meeting with your org Advisor

Ensure you have a current UWEC faculty/staff advisor in place and meet to discuss the upcoming year (expectations of each other, financials, goals/plans/events etc.)

New this year: You must obtain your advisor's written acknowledgement of their agreement to serve as your advisor for the upcoming year (email acknowledgments will suffice and must be saved to upload within your org re-registration request form.)

Step 2:
Update your Blugold Connect+ Group Page

Submitting your re-registration information does not automatically update your group officer information or any other information shown on your public BC+ group page. Click here for instructions on how to make these important updates.

New this year: You'll need to download & save your updated officer roster information from BC+ and upload it within your org re-registration request form.

Step 3:
Register and attend the Student Organization Leaders "Nuts & Bolts" Training

All student organization Presidents AND Treasurers are required to attend this training & must register individually (you may only represent ONE student organization.)

Time: 4:15pm-5:00pm (check-in and free dinner), 5:00pm-8:00pm training time.
Location: Ojibwe Ballroom, 3rd floor Davies Center

STOP!

  • Have you updated and downloaded/saved your current officer roster from your Blugold Connect+ group portal?
  • Have you obtained and saved written acknowledgement (email will suffice) from your advisor regarding their agreement to serve as your advisor this upcoming year?

IF SO, YOU MAY MOVE ON TO STEP 4 .

Step 4:
Submit your organizations' "Group Re-Registration" form via Blugold Connect+.

(This includes completing the required annual Constitution form that is already built into the re-registration form.)
  • Choose your "Group" from the group list
  • Click on the blue "+ Group Re-registration" button to complete your information (be sure to hit "Submit.") (Note: the blue "+ Group Re-registration" button will not appear until Sept. 1st.)
  • Notify your advisor that they must review and approve/deny your submission before it can move forward in the approval process.
  • Advisors will receive an email from mail@campusgroups.uwec.edu upon your submission.
