Eau Claire Earth Fest is a free event open to the public designed to celebrate earth month by connecting people to each other and to resources they can use to be more sustainable. ECEF will feature a wide array of activities, including vendor tabling, sustainability awards, workshops, and student sustainability research presentations.
Sponsors & Student Involvement: The Wisconsin Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy and the UW-Eau Claire Student Office of Sustainability are key partners, allowing us to open the event to the public for free. Eau Claire Earth Fest will have lots of student involvement, including a student sustainability research poster presentation, a workshop on youth perspectives on sustainability in the Chippewa Valley, and a clothing swap (which is open to everyone). Additionally, gently used bikes are being collected for the UW-Eau Claire Bikeshare program in partnership with Compass Bike Lab.
