To all UW-Eau Claire registered student organizations,
As the Nov. 3 election approaches, please take a moment to review UW-Eau Claire’s policies related to free speech and expression on campus, including those linked below. Public universities must allow most expressive activities, particularly on matters related to voting and participating in elections.
As a reminder, students and student organizations are prohibited from removing posters, interfering with chalked messages, or otherwise depriving members of the university community of their First Amendment rights. If you observe expressive activity you believe may violate a university policy, please contact the Dean of Students Office to report potential violations.
