The University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire Department of Music and Theatre Arts presents a guest artist performance in Gantner Concert Hall at the Haas Fine Arts Center (121 Water Street Eau Claire, WI 54703) Admission is FREE. Doors open 15 minutes before start time.

Molly Roseman, whose playing has been described as “authoritative and artistic”, is a versatile performer taking on active roles as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative pianist. Her performances have taken her across state, regional, and national venues. She has been a soloist with various regional orchestras including the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. In addition, she has performed numerous times on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Live at the Chazen” series. Other appearances include those at the Atlanta Pro-Mozart Society, the Tallahassee Bach Parley Series, the International Saxophone Symposium, the National Flute Association Conventions, Wisconsin Music Teachers Association, the American Suzuki Summer Institute, the LunArts Festival, South Beach Up North Chamber Series, and various flute festivals in Wisconsin and Florida. For over 30 years, she has maintained a collaborative flute/piano duo with flutist and husband Jacob Roseman. They have appeared on many artist series across the United States and their playing has been featured on various national and international radio outlets.

Roseman is a devoted educator and active member of Wisconsin Music Teachers Association. She has presented numerous workshops and masterclasses for local piano associations, professional music organizations, and universities across Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, New Mexico and Arizona. Her interests include French piano music where she has studied with the distinguished Debussy/Ravel scholar, Paul Roberts of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama of London. In 2023, she continued further studies under Roberts’ tutelage for her sabbatical project on Debussy’s Preludes, Book 2.

Roseman has studied under the tutelage of pianists Richard Cass, James Streem, and renowned conductor/pianist, Jeffrey Kahane. She holds degrees from Florida State University, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. She has held teaching positions at Florida State University, Oklahoma Baptist University, and Morehead State University. She is Professor of Piano at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
