First Fridays Faculty Recital Series: Remembrances

Join Alexander Henton (horn), Christine Harada Li (violin), Nathaniel Pierce (cello), Christa Garvey (oboe), Felipe Vargas Magdaleno (guitar) and Nicholas Phillips (piano) for an evening of music that was written in memory of others. Program to include Brahms’ Horn Trio along with music by Ravel, De Falla, and more.

The First Fridays Faculty Recital Series highlights the talent and versatility of the UW-Eau Claire voice, piano, wind, brass, percussion, and string faculty. These intimate recitals take place in Pablo Center Clearwater Recital Hall known for its sweeping panoramic views of the confluence of the downtown rivers. Each performance features an engaging mix of solo and chamber repertoire, with past programs including works by composers such as Schumann, Farrenc, Poulenc, Brahms, and Ravel.
