Join us for a special lecture with Professor Nadine Strossen, past President of the ACLU (1991–2008) and one of America’s leading experts on free speech. This event will explore how First Amendment principles apply in today’s world of social media, the internet, and artificial intelligence.
Strossen is the John Marshall Harlan II Professor of Law Emerita at New York Law School, a Senior Fellow with FIRE, and author of several influential books, including Defending Pornography: Free Speech, Sex, and the Fight for Women’s Rights (2024) and The War on Words: 10 Arguments Against Free Speech – And Why They Fail (2025).

This event is co-hosted by the Menard Center for Constitutional Studies at UW–Eau Claire and the Voices for Liberty Initiative at George Mason University.

Don’t miss this chance to hear from one of the nation’s foremost defenders of free expression and join a timely conversation on technology and constitutional rights.
