The Menard Center for Constitutional Studies, in collaboration with BridgeEauClaire, a newly established student organization chapter of BridgeUSA, is excited to present a special screening of the documentary "UNDIVIDE US".

About the Film:
America stands at a crucial junction where politicians, traditional media, and social media intensify toxic partisanship, causing many to doubt the trustworthiness of their fellow citizens. "UNDIVIDE US" serves as a beacon of hope and a call to action. Through the intimate lens of six focus groups across three American cities, the film delves into the twisted landscape of toxic polarization, exposing how it leads us to fundamentally dark places.

However, amidst these divisions, the film uncovers the potential for healing conversations and the rediscovery of the importance of local community, mutual respect, and democracy. Aiming to awaken the silenced majority seeking solutions rather than strife, "UNDIVIDE US" is not just a documentary; it’s a timely and urgent plea to reclaim the nation’s soul through open discourse, civic engagement, and self-governance.

Post-Film Discussion:
Following the film screening, there will be a discussion led by Jennifer Brick Murtazashvili, one of the film's featured performers. Jennifer is the Director of the Center for Governance and Markets and an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research explores questions of governance, political economy, security, and development with a geographical focus on Central and South Asia and the former Soviet Union.
