About Us

The Business Association of Multicultural Students: To educate students with multicultural backgrounds so they can grow professionally, network with companies that embrace diversity and support the College of Business's commitment to embrace equity, diversity and inclusivity. Educate: BAMS strives to educate business and economic students on how to succeed in the business world. The ways BAMS educate students is to teach written and oral communication skills by inviting guest speakers who are experts in their areas to speak to BAMS members. BAMS will also help students with multicultural Network with companies: BAMS as an organization will help find internship and opportunities for students with Multicultural backgrounds by networking with companies that embrace diversity. BAMS will network by inviting guest speakers and hosting networking banquets to bridge multicultural students and companies. Support EDI in the College of Business: BAMS will help promote EDI within the College of Business by helping students voice their opinions. By voicing students opinions, the College of Business can find resolutions in order to serve the College's commitment to EDI.
