In collaboration with UWEC Foundation, we welcome Christopher Sweet. Christopher is a celebrated Native American artist, who will be unveiling a new, original artwork created specifically for the UW–Eau Claire campus. This piece honors the sacred, ancestral lands upon which our university stands with the Council Oak. His powerful visual storytelling reflects the depth of Native traditions and the resilience of Indigenous communities—making this a truly special moment for our campus and community.
