Come and learn about crucial information on being a student renter! "What to Know Before You Rent: 101" is a presentation-style workshop that will cover your rights as a tenant, budgeting, questions to ask, signing a lease, navigating living with roommates, how to get your security deposit back, and more! If you want to, or already live off campus, this could be the perfect opportunity to learn more!
Free lunch will be provided to all attendees! The presentation will be in the Dakota Ballroom on both Monday, Oct. 5th, and Tuesday, Oct. 6th, from 11:20 am to 12:50 am on both days! The presentation will last about 60 minutes, followed by a 30-minute workshop covering any questions you have and personal consultation!
This event is put on by Student Senate in collaboration with the Eau Claire Tenant-Landlord Resource Center. Hope to see you there!
